Title: MORE CROOKS INVESTIGATED AT FIFA HQ

Blog:

It has not been a good day for more top names in world football. FIFA's ETHICS COMMITTEE announced today that they are investigating ELEVEN officials for possible corruption and assorted bad deeds.

As well as those six arrested by Swiss police during the FIFA meeting early one morning at the luxury Bar du Lac hotel and current President Sepp Blatter and General Secretary Jerome Valcke and UEFA President Michael Platini there are some new names. The most famous is former German and Bayern Munich star and German World Cup winning coach Franz Beckenbauer. He had refused to cooperate with the committee concerning his voting for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup decisions while he was a member of the FIFA Exco.

Another big name that I have been expecting is the acting head of UEFA during Platini's current 90 day suspension - Spanish FA President Angel Maria Villar is being investigated about his role as Head of the Spain/Portugal bid committee for the 2018 World Cup. He had also refused to cooperate in the past to charges of bid wheeling and dealing. He is also acting head of the FIFA 2018 Russia World Cup.

The other six officials are Jeffrey Webb, former CONCACAF President, now under house arrest in New York after volunteering to extradition from custody in Switzerland, Worawi Makudi, Ricardo Teixeira (former head of Brazil's CBF and former son in law of long time FIFA President Joao Havelange) , Amus Adamu, Eugenio Figueredo and Nicolas Leoz.

FIFA has agreed to a change in their CODE OF ETHICS, allowing details of ongoing investigations to be released. The Presidential Election will still go ahead on February 26th despite calls to delay it. Platini and Blatter are being investigated over a ?1.35 million payment to the Frenchman received in 2011 related to 'consultancy work' completed NINE YEARS AGO....with very little explanation and no written contract or even knowledge or agreement from the FIFA Exco.

THe news comes at a time when Der Spiegel in Germany says that the German 2006 World Cup committee set up a private 6.7 euros (?5 million) slush fund, bankrolled by the late ADIDAS chief Robert Louis-Drefyus to buy votes from four Asian members on the FIFA executive committee.

FIFA IS FALLING APART !!! LIKE SWISS CHEESE THEY HAVE LOTS OF HOLES.
